As a Senior Sales Compensation Analyst, you will be integral to the administration and management of Rubrik’s global sales compensation plans. In this role, you’ll work with a range of key financial data, reconciliation, reporting, and headcount tracking activities to ensure the success of our sales force worldwide. This position reports directly to the Senior Manager, Global Sales Compensation.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage and support the end-to-end sales incentive compensation process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with Commission Accounting to process new hires, terminations, transfers, and retroactive changes.
- Partner with HR, Finance, and Commission Accounting teams to align field coverage models with sales compensation plans.
- Drive process improvements, focusing on streamlining and automating commission workflows.
- Deliver outstanding customer service to our Sales organization and internal partners, responding promptly to inquiries and issues.
- Actively participate in the annual operating planning process.
- Oversee MBO, commission bonus, and SPIFF payouts.
- Work independently, continually identifying areas for process optimization.
- Support the development of documentation and internal controls to ensure process integrity.
- Provide comprehensive sales compensation training for new and existing sales representatives.
- Support ad hoc reporting and special projects as required.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Sales Compensation, Sales Operations, Finance, or a similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Deep understanding of sales compensation plan design, principles, and best practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Innovative and creative approach to problem-solving.
- Self-starter, with the ability to collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Advanced user of Microsoft Excel (or Google Sheets), capable of building complex models and conducting detailed analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Xactly or similar compensation platforms.
- Familiarity with Salesforce (SFDC).
- Proficiency in Tableau for data visualization and reporting.
